You have been tremendous this week, last week and the week of the incident. Our students are lucky to have such a caring and dedicated professional who is willing to work tirelessly each day. When I walked into the office yesterday, you were skyping with one of our suspended students, you met with a new teacher after school, you introduced her to her classes, you are now assisting with IB Spanish courses, your ATL committee met to discuss next year's proposal, you made a new uniform proposal to kids, you interviewed a drama candidate and then you wrote these letters. Long day, good day. We are lucky to have you! Our Community is lucky to have you! I am a loyal follower of the Force Bordaguibel.

Through his genuine personable style, Fred has created strong relationships with all members of our community. He is respected for his precise understanding of high school needs, his strong background in international education, his expertise in IB learning environments, and his outstanding multilingual communication ability.
Fred’s reflective practices are evident in the continued improvement of his division and our school. Student learning is at the forefront of his contributions. In addition to leading teaching and learning in high school, Fred has successfully led school-wide curriculum/program review teams in areas of science, English language learning and athletics.Fred knows each student’s story, greets them in the morning and sends them off with a positive message. I’m always inspired by the way in which he seeks to positively influence each student in his division. I frequently go to Fred to share difficult situations and know that he will give a non-biased and objective perspective. His collaborative leadership style is a true asset.
I know that Fred will continue to impact international education in superb ways. The community who
welcomes Fred and his family will certainly be fortunate.

"I feel compelled to write this short reference on behalf of Fred Bordaguibel. I have worked as an international teacher leader and administrator for the past 20 years, in five different countries across 4 continents, and I have to say that Fred is easily one of the most outstanding educators that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Fred inspires students and teachers alike on a daily basis with his passion for student learning and his ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with everyone he meets. In my opinion, Fred is on the verge of becoming an international leader of the highest calibre and I would work with, or hire him over and over and over again. Fred is as good as it gets and would be a true lottery win for any educational organization."

"Through his genuine student-centred approach to education, Fred transformed the nature of the Diploma Programme Coordinator's role at IICS, developing it from a secretarial, management-focused position into a true mentoring-focused leadership role which prioritised meeting the varied needs of about 100 students and teachers on a daily basis. His legacy at IICS is that those who have followed in his footsteps continue to value such an approach and try to live up to the high standards that he set."
"Fred has all the qualities needed to become a successful senior leader in an international school. Not only does he have the 'people skills' needed to work with a diverse faculty, student and parent body, but he is also courageous enough to make key decisions in situations riddled with uncertainty. He leads by example and would not ask anything of anybody if he was unwilling or unable to act in such a way himself."
"Every school needs at least one Fred Bordaguibel. He can be trusted with any position of responsibility, the academic success of all classes that he teaches is guaranteed, and he has the rare ability to continually raise the moral of staff and students with every meeting or group that he participates in."
